| Judy DeGan began her career as a student at the Indianapolis Art Center where she has won the best of the advanced students division in the annual student show. When not creating pottery, Judy works as a resource teacher and tutor working with dyslexic children. She is married and has four children. Judy provides the following statement: “To put my hands on the cool, damp clay; to feel the ball of the clay as it finds center; to ease the clay through my fingers gently easing it into a form; all transcend into peace. Exasperations of the day or worries of tomorrow slip right through my fingers. I’ve left those finger grooves for you to share that sensation of peace. May you enjoy a piece of my peace”. |
